Frequently Asked Questions

Can I post the books I have to you?
If you email recycling@fowsart.org.uk, we can send you a postage address.

My local book bank is full what should I do with my donation?
Call the number on the bank and request that it is emptied. Please return with your donation in a few days to place it into the bin.

Where is my closest recycling bank?
Please e-mail recycling@fowsart.org.uk

What if I accidentally post my keys or wallet into the bank?!
Please phone the number on the bank and arrange a mutually convenient time for them to open it. Please do not attempt to climb or reach into the bank.

What happens to the donated books?
The books are sorted and sold for re-use or recycled. The funds this generates are donated to Water Search and Rescue to allow us to kit the volunteer rescue team out with the equipment and training they need to help protect life in and around water.
